Bret is a named partner in the firm. Bret also hails from west Tennessee originally although he graduated from Ooltewah High School. Bret graduated college from Suwanee and attended law school at the “other” UT, the University of Texas.

Bret has an enormous amount of experience in criminal law and was the former federally-funded DUI prosecutor in Hamilton County, former Hamilton County gang prosecutor and former assistant United States attorney general in Arizona. He also has a wealth of civil litigation experience and practiced at a large local law firm and was also the general counsel for a nationwide nursing home corporation just prior to coming to our firm. Bret is licensed in Tennessee and Georgia. He primarily handles State and Federal Criminal Defense as well as Nursing Home cases and Medical Malpractice.

Bret is married with two children and is an avid bicyclist. Bret’s wife is a former school teacher for Hamilton County.
